Cake and conversation in Birmingham

Time flies

Two years ago we threw open the doors on the UK’s first ever data4good conference.

It was bit of gamble but we had a hunch* that there was a community of people working in charities and interested in data. That hunch* turned out to be correct and the event was a sell-out. We had a fabulous line-up of speakers and there was a real buzz around central Birmingham.

We weren’t alone in organising this conference. We brought together a whole range of organisations in the data4good partnership.

Handing on the baton

We’re delighted to be able to announce that the data4good partnership is organising another event: the data4good festival.

Visit the festival website at data4goodfest.org.uk.

This time DataKind UK are doing the heavy lifting and we are delighted to be able to support them to make sure this event is another huge success.

There is a Call for Contributions open on the website. You can sign up to be alerted as soon as tickets go on sale.

We look forward to seeing you all there next year.

* Obviously we had done quite a lot of research, we are data people after all.
