Henna Charania
Training and Impact Associate
Henna is passionate about using her data, research and evaluation skills to support those adversely affected in the local and global community.
During her career she has worked for various non-profit organisations in the UK (and beyond), with a focus on disaster relief, gender-based violence, racial equity, and migrant and human rights.
She has strong skills and experience in developing data collection systems, carrying out research, embedding monitoring and evaluation practices, and building organisational capacity to carry out data work.
In addition to her work with Data Orchard, Henna works as an evidence and impact coordinator for Kent Refugee Action Network. She is also a trustee of Hackney Migrant Centre.
Henna has a professional background in humanitarian engineering and an M.Sc. in International Development. She enjoys narrow boating around London, dog sitting and rap music.
