A strategic step forward
Earlier this year we undertook a strategic review. As a result of that we set a goal to strengthen our board and our team in skills, influence, and diversity. In particular to support and train more young and diverse people into data careers and not-for-profit sector. Our new member appointments are the first step towards that goal and are the result of a thorough and careful open recruitment process.
The new members join our existing board in contributing their skills and time to our mission and values:
Nancy James, Chair, specialist in company management and leadership good practice.
Chris Gooding, community development and customer service professional.
Charlotte Worthy, expert statistician and demographer leading local government research and intelligence.
We are delighted to have such brilliant and supportive new board members join to strengthen our core to help us grow and flourish in the future. Watch this space!
P.S. A thank you to Jonathan Chevalier (CEO at Charity Digital) and Janet Thorne (CEO at Reach Volunteering) for sharing their expertise and resources on recruiting board members.
